The Beautiful Badass Method Transformation

When I say that the Beautiful Badass Method is about moving beyond recovery, I mean that it’s about learning to love yourself so much that any diets or fear-based food behaviors aren’t even a possibility for you anymore.

This was my own healing progression:

1. In the “Eating Disorder” photo, I was steeped in self-loathing and misery. I was constantly thinking about food, what to eat next, how much to eat, when, how to hold off until then…. I was always on a diet or food plan, and often starving myself. As soon as I “messed up" my diet, I binged. Then I punished myself later by staying in that same binge-restrict cycle. I over-exercised, causing stress on my body. Mostly, I was always looking for external validation that I was worthy of love.

2. In the “Healing” photo, I was getting happier and allowing myself to really indulge in food for the first time in my life. I wasn’t fully listening to my body yet, and I wasn’t fully loving myself, but I was getting there! And yes, I gained some weight. Although weight gain was part of my own healing journey, it’s not necessary for everyone. What IS necessary is this mindset shift:

You begin prioritizing your happiness over the number on the scale.

3. In the “Healed” photo, I implemented the 7 steps Beautiful Badass Method, and it enabled me to break through into real freedom with food. No more food struggles, worries, or diets whatsoever. I eat out of self-love now. I truly listen to my body, and as a result, it’s found its natural healthy weight.

My life is nowhere near perfect - I have PLENTY of non-food related struggles  - but I can honestly say I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.
