How Yoga Heals

Yoga has honestly saved my life. A couple of years ago, I went through a period of tremendous grief and simultaneous heartbreak. And yet, there was Yoga by my side: my anchor, my inner wisdom, my peace. I learned that when I didn't deny the overwhelming emotions as they arose, when I surrendered into them, they stripped away my fears, bringing me closer and closer to my center.

Yoga is not just a physical practice. It's an experiential remembering of your wholeness, your unity with all of life. By opening you physically, it opens you energetically, allowing you to release the resistances (karmas) that keep you locked into habitual thought patterns, emotions, and identifications and prevent you from knowing your true Self.
